Ordering and shipping

Where is my stuff?

Digital items

If you purchased an eBook, audio book, or printable and you can't find the email to download your content, here are some tips:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
    Sometimes super efficient filters trying to protect you will route emails into a spam folder instead of your inbox.
  • Confirm you used the correct email address at check out
     All eBooks, audio books, and printable items are delivered to the email address you provided during check out.

If you still can't find your items, send a note to help AT worderella DOT com so we can try to help.

Physical items

If you purchased a print book or merchandise such as mugs, clothing, or stickers, each item is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes a bit longer to deliver it. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!

My custom printing and delivery process can take up to 28 days normally, and longer during the holiday season. This is on intentional, to reduce environmental waste and ensure a quality product. Because each order is custom printed, cancellations, refunds, and returns are not accepted. Please be certain of your selections prior to check out.

I am not responsible for lost, late, or damaged items as I have no control once the package is with the shipping carrier. Due to persistent shipping delays from the pandemic, it could take up to 3 weeks to receive your items, especially during the holiday season. If you believe the item is lost, please contact your local postal service location with your order details for more information.

How do I check order status?

Once your physical order containing physical items is shipped, you will receive an email notification including a tracking number to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at help AT worderella.com with your name and order number, and I will look into it for you.

What is your shipping policy?

My custom printing and delivery process can take up to 28 days normally, and longer during the holiday season. This is to reduce environmental waste and ensure a quality product. Because each order is custom printed, cancellations, refunds, and returns are not accepted. Please be certain of your selections prior to check out.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

I hand ship my stationery line, Bright Bird Press, to addresses in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and a couple other countries, via the Simple Export Rate at Pirate Ship. 

If I don't ship to your country and it is on this approved list, send me a note.

How do I download my eBook?

  1. Once the payment clears from your purchase, you will receive an email with the subject, "Your book has arrived!"
  2. Open the email and click or tap the download link to visit the BookFunnel download page.
  3. Click or tap "Get my book."
  4. Select your preferred reading device from the menu.
  5. Follow the step-by-step instructions, or add the item to your BookFunnel library.

If you run into any issues with downloading, please:

  • Click or tap the NEED HELP? icon in the top right of the download page.
  • Send an email to help AT bookfunnel DOT com.

How do I download my audio book?

The audiobooks downloaded from this store will only work with the BookFunnel app or in your browser. This is to ensure ease-of-delivery and provide you with reliable customer service support if any issues arise.

  1. Once the payment clears from your purchase, you will receive an email with the subject, "Your book has arrived!"
  2. Open the email and click or tap the download link to visit the BookFunnel download page.
  3. Click or tap "Get my book."
  4. Select your preferred reading method:
  • Click or tap "Listen in the BookFunnel app"
    1. Copy the code that appears.
    2. Open the BookFunnel app on your device, or download the app for free.
    3. Paste the code into the input field in the app.
    4. Submit the code and the app will load your content!
  • Click or tap "Listen in your web browser"
  1. Submit your BookFunnel login information, or create an account.
  2. Enjoy listening to your content right from your browser!

Do you have wholesale pricing?

What is cozy fantasy?

Do you love escaping into worlds of magic and fantasy? Do you enjoy quirky characters, light world-building, low stakes and ridiculous romps?

If you answered yes to any of those things, then cozy fantasy is for you.

Cozy fantasy often features romance (of varying spice levels). There is no assault, torture, or violence. These are feel-good stories with low dread, or a glossing over of high dread, in a fantasy setting. There's a focus on slice-of-life, and finding that precious. The good guys win, or there is a heavy emphasis on doing the right thing. There is usually a heavy focus on characters and their growth. You will end the story feeling positive and comforted.

What is a romantic content rating?

When I say that my romances are cozy, sweet, mild, or no/low heat, here is exactly what I mean...

  1. No heat, focusing on emotional connection with no kissing.
  2. Low heat with a focus on emotional connection, holding hands, light kissing.
  3. Moderate heat romantic content with heavier kissing.
  4. I haven't written more than 3, but 4 would start to include backstage or off-screen sexual content implied, etc.
