I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. I survived my weed out class, obviously, but this current quarter has been a lot more intense than I expected. All the same, I’ve gotten a lot of good editing completed, The Winslow Charade is coming along nicely, I think. I wish I had more to update you guys on, but as I’m just a poor college student majoring in Engineering rather than English….um….yeah.
Weed-out class this quarter. I’m glad I got so much writing and research done this summer. Look for me in January.
Still researching during my last two free weeks before school starts up again. In the meantime, I made more giveaways, so check those out.
Well, summer classes took up a lot more time than I thought they would last month, but hey! I got all A-‘s! I’m still researching a lot for The Winslow Charade, and at the 40,000 word mark, I decided I wanted to write in present tense. So, I’m in the process of changing everything over haha.
So, we’re getting some good editing on The Winslow Charade, which is now officially the working title of the new novel. I consider it the working title because it does not, in fact, have anything to do with the actual plot anymore. I am also coming up with an actual business name for my endeavors, and I’ll update you all on that soon. Wish me luck on finals!
Working on a new layout, so bear with me while I try to get this all together. Apparently, my image map in IE doesn’t change the web address, so refreshing is sort of iffy. And the bookmark link doesn’t work in Firefox. Other than that, I hope you like the new streamlined look!
Happy New Year. We are now celebrating the two year anniversary of Catching the Rose’s publication, so Happy birthday, CtR! In other news, it’s a new quarter at school, meaning all new classes, meaning work on the new novel has been postponed until I’ve gotten used to the workload.
New layout complete! I hope you all like the new, muted look. Work on the new novel is coming along pretty well, I’ve been doing a lot of research so actual formulation has slowed, but I’m sure it will pick up again. Happy holidays, everyone!
We are getting ready for the new year by completely changing the entire website’s layout. This is bound to take a while, so I’m putting the website on a slight haitus as I get this done. Thanks for your patience!
Changed The Winslow Charade main page, because right now, that plot isn’t cutting it for me. I feel badly for this story…I think this is the fourth time I’ve scrapped a main part of the plot. Therefore, The Winslow Charade has become the working title. Check it out to find out what we know so far.
Can we say school-mania, anyone? I’m sorry I haven’t been around. School is a lot tougher this quarter than I bargained for, hence the lack of updates or work on the new novel!
Major updates to all pages. Historical images added, and the resource for those images is found on the Links page. I know I need to change the main picture of me, and we’re working on that. The Winslow Charade also has an entire site now, though the book isn’t finished so basically all we still have is the plot summary. Check back for more updates!
The Winslow Charade welcome page is up, along with plot summary.
Novel is currently 32,971 words.
“The Wilson Girl” changed to “The Winslow Charade.”
