However, I loved the fact that she was in all the different head spaces. It seems to me that's almost a staple of suspense, which is how this book was advertised (well, historical suspense). Besides which, if you didn't like that, you may not like my book. I jump heads from chapter to chapter if it will tell the story better. I’ve never read any of her erotica (I’ve never read erotica), so I wouldn’t know to compare. However, I loved the fact that she was in all the different head spaces. I LOVED Lip Service, by the same author. I think Erotica is her calling, personally. But I wasn't "feeling it" with this book quite as much, even though I loved the subject matter. I think the problem might have been that she was in too many different heads for my personal taste and I had a hard time knowing who I was supposed to really be rooting for. This was a book I thought was well-written, but I couldn’t get into. I LOVED Lip Service, by the same author. I think Erotica is her calling, personally.
