Relating to my Characters: Penmanship and Fountain Pens

  1. I recently had a conversation about my fountain pens, actually. Brian, my co-worker, has a theory that most technical people (such as my computer science peers) prefer mechanical pencils alone as writing utensils, while it seems that creative writers, such as myself, are almost obsessed with different types of pens.

I found his theory really interesting. What do you think? Do you have creative writer friends who collect pens? Or do they have a lucky revision/editing pen?

If anything, I guess it just shows how the way a person thinks of them self really permeates their habits.

    1. I'm afraid I have to disagree, I'm a software engineer by trade and I'm obsessed by fountain pens.

Not the artsy web facing kind of software engineer either – pure C ;-).

  2. I have a glass pen that my dad bought me. It’s very hard to write with, but when I get the rip amount of ink on the tip, it looks very cool.

  5. I’m a website enthusiast and with a lot of blogs on the web now, not incredibly quite a few stand out. Your weblog caught my interest and that i thought that I’d post to let you know that.
